Nice narrative economics article, easy to understand in laymans terms, by Delong.  He concisely shows the falicies & explains / dubunks the myths some economists have been expounding about the causes / effects of the great recession --- written/published in mid-march this year if you haven't read this already.  He even goes so far as to explain the basic reasoning of why these economists believe what they do.
